Alyssa Hopf
ASSOCIATE
Alyssa Hopf is an Associate at Sheikh/Impact, where she provides support through funder research and solicitation, strategic communications and organizational development services.
Prior to joining Sheikh/Impact, Alyssa worked as a Grants Manager for RepkoGrants in Sierra Madre, CA, where she spent four years learning the ins and outs of grant strategies in the nonprofit sector. She assisted 10 human service organizations across Los Angeles County from research and proposal writing to reporting and relationship building. Alyssa worked closely with executive and development directors to enact strategic grants plans and successfully grow organization operations and capital campaigns. Her commitment to helping nonprofits serve vulnerable communities and expand their networks remains at the heart of everything she does.
Alyssa grew up in the San Gabriel Valley. She attended the University of Denver where she earned a B.A. in Psychology and Gender & Women Studies along with a minor in English. She then earned her M.S. in Organizational Leadership & Development in 2022. She volunteers on the Board of the Association of Fundraising Professionals - Greater Los Angeles Chapter (AFP-GLAC) and will be highlighting the remarkable work of philanthropists and nonprofit organizations as National Philanthropy Day Co-Chair in 2025.
